The National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) launched a magazine called 'Please Ask' on 5th April 2006 which aims to provide patients with information about what to expect before going into hospital, giving patients and family's peace of mind. The magazine and website aims to enable patients to take a more active role in managing their own health and the confidence to ask healthcare staff questions about their treatment. |
